We maintain and manage operations of commercial heat pump systems for single buildings to centralised networks across the UK. Our service partner agreements with most leading heat pump manufacturers provides access to parts, equipment and supplies, providing cost and time efficiencies.

Our commercial heat pump specialists include a team of experts who service, repair and replace ground, water and air source heat pumps nationwide.

Sustainable Energy’s fully trained heating engineers maintain all leading heat pump brands, including Carrier, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, LG, and more.

Our breakdown team provides swift repairs to every type of ground or air source heat pump, while our service team focuses on increasing efficiency and reliability.

Vast O&M experience and long-term partnerships have given us a uniquely full understanding of systems, providing continuity as well as responsiveness to maintain heat supply. 

Our Service Team has provided ongoing O&M service contracts for biomass heat and district heat networks for more than 15 years. Our team maintains training qualifications for most types of biomass boilers and have built partnerships with manufacturers for ease of access to parts and equipment.

Sustainable Energy’s experience includes low-temperature hot water boilers, medium-temperature boilers, and steam boilers. We’re skilled in fuel supply systems from toploaders, walking floors and rotary fuel conveyers.  

For peace of mind, we’re registered with the MCS040 Biomass Maintenance Standard, which requires all recipients of RHI payments to ensure their biomass boilers are serviced by a certified servicing business. This scheme is managed by HETAS, under the name “HETAS Approved Biomass Maintenance Scheme” (HABMS). Our scheme registration number is 9312.

Our engineers sample and ensure ongoing quality is maintained to maximise life of assets. We oversee cleaning, flushing, filling, treatment and opening heating systems and networks.

Our services follow on to regular sampling to maintain water quality in line with all connected equipment, preventing scaling, corrosion, fouling & microbial contamination, and deposition that could affect system performance.

Sustainable Energy’s team includes experienced water treatment specialists, combining the latest treatment techniques to reduce costs, improve efficiency, reliability and safety; extending asset life time.

We have vast experience of both non-chemical water treatment approaches and chemical systems for boilers, heat exchangers, heat pumps, cooling systems and evaporative condensers.

HIU performance is key to any district or communal heating system, which means servicing to ensure they efficient operation, reducing energy loss preventing costly breakdowns and wider system performance maintainance.

Our experience of network and heat exchange extends to thermal substations, heat exchangers and residential heat interface units HIUs. 

We understand the importance of Heat Interface Units (HIUs) maintenance, and although they are a simple and robust means of delivering heat and hot water to residents, basic issues, from incorrect settings, control parameters, bypasses, filters etc., can have an impact on the wider system.

As well as using data from the HIUs we combine with energy information from the wider system to plan for preventative attendances and optimisations that run from the pumping equipment in the energy centre to heat exchangers and control valves in the substations, all the way to meter valves and exchangers in the HIUs. Sustainable Energy’s holistic approach ensures optimal performance and energy efficiency.

We provide a data health audit, which is designed to identify data completeness, infrastructure and systems to transfer data offsite reliably. We can survey metering and monitoring assets, providing clear, actionable reports with practical recommendations for necessary improvements.

We’re independent and advise on hardware, oversee installation, undertake configuration & commissioning, verify performance, and provide ongoing connectivity and maintenance.
