Asset management

Effective asset management requires the continual collation and analysis of operating data and review of this data against a clear set of KPIs, to ensure system performance is meeting defined targets.

Our operations team has extensive hands-on experience and knowledge of operating and optimising low-carbon heating systems and networks. Our dedicated asset management software incorporates all specific itemised equipment conditions, lifetimes, run hours and efficiencies, alongside equipment datasheets, operating manuals and system operating information.

We have dedicated Asset management software systems that contain all itemised equipment conditions, lifetime, run hours, efficiency all combined with datasheets and operating manuals and system operating information.

On boarding

Asset performance and optimisation begin with collecting and maintaining data. We work with our clients to define processes and systems to collect and manage energy and asset data. We have digital solutions that manage this process to ensure the quality of asset and energy data at minimal cost.

We are experienced at developing and reproducing, where necessary, all drawings on an operational basis.

Maintenance programs

We develop bespoke maintenance programs, we establish planned replacement dates and review condition and operating parameters to continually update the planned replacement dates.

We maintain key spares inventories and ensure all supply chains are set up and lead times for spares kept up to date.

Remote monitoring and performance management

Using our bespoke remote monitoring solutions we offer continual operational and performance management for energy systems.

Alarms are set up for the key parameters of the system and triaged to a 24 hour service centre where appropriate engineers are located and advised of level of issue.

Our remote monitoring software connects to existing controls, either with simple integrations or with low capital outlay hardware gateways which are easily added to existing energy and BMS systems to provide an efficient transfer of data to our asset and operational teams.

We set up KPIs and trends so our engineers are notified of non critical performance issues and allow planning and rectification and response. Our aim is to minimise call outs and maximise operational efficiency.

Our remote monitoring continually displays efficiencies, losses, COPs, VWART and VWAFT data with advisory reports available by clients and engineers.

Heritage meets low carbon: Renewable heating across the National Trust Estate

Ickworth House in Suffolk

The National Trust committed £30 million through its Renewable Energy Investment Programme to deliver circa 40 renewable energy projects across its UK estate, targeting 50% of energy from renewable sources by 2020 and the removal of all oil heating systems.
