In accordance with SEL’s ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, we have recorded consumption and environmental impact data since 2019.
- Scope 1: Natural gas consumption for office space heating (transport excluded as not relevant)

Emissions Reduction Targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 6 tCO2e. This is a reduction of 59% from the 2019 data.

Completed Initiatives
Since the 2019 baseline, the following measures have been implemented, achieving a reduction of 5.32 tCO2e (36%):
- ISO 14001:2015 certified environmental management system (Certificate No: 2033304)
- Established environmental policy to reduce impact
- Transitioned to renewable electricity supply
- Converted company vehicles to fully electric
- Office energy improvements:Motion sensor lightingEnergy-efficient equipment upgradesInstallation of a heat pump to reduce gas usage
Planned Initiatives
Future measures under consideration include:
Installation of air conditioning units with heating capability to further reduce reliance on natural gas
Ongoing improvements through our environmental management system.
Declaration and Sign-Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance.
Emissions have been reported in line with:
- GHG Protocol Corporate Standard
- UK Government emission conversion factors
- SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting) requirements
- GHG Protocol Scope 3 Standard
This plan has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors.
